Contact: Dr. Scott McLean
Dr. Scott McLean serves as the communication advisor to Welders Without Borders. Dr. McLean has extensive experience and publications in the areas of health communication, safe and healthy work environments, organizational and crisis communication www.ablongman.com/mclean .
He has served as an evaluator on the United States National Institutes of Health's Small Business and Innovative Research (SBIR) www.sba.gov/SBIR/ since 1995. He also served as an evaluator of educational programs for the Ministerio de Hacienda de Chile www.minhda.cl/ evaluator in 1998.
He studied at Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile www.puc.cl/ and at Washington State University's Edward R. Murrow School of Communication communication.wsu.edu and served as a communication intern for the United States Information Agency at the US Embassy in Santiago, Chile, in 1989.
He and his family divide their time between Yuma, Arizona www.ci.yuma.az.us/ and Puerto Montt, Chile.
