FAQ:  What can my company do to support "Welders Without Borders"?

Answer: Give time and resources to support welding education in your area.  Help sponsor a faculty member to volunteer to work with students in other countries or sponsor a welding student scholarship in your companies name at a school near you or at the Arizona Western College Foundation. This so some fortunate student can attend the Arizona Western College Institute of Welding Technology or you can give to another institution of choice.  Its easy to change a life that could change the world.  Just do something.

Answer:  Contact WWB founder Professor Colton for information from his experiences partnering for WWB programs and how you can sponsor a local welding educational event to boost interest in welding education, careers in welding and educate the community about the importance of welding in our modern world. 

FAQ:  Can I make any money through "Welders Without Borders:?

Answer:  No.  Everyone involved with WWB programs does so as a volunteer.  The focus of our activities is on the wonderful young people who are choosing to make a career choice in welding.  All volunteers recieve support through company sponsorship, their school or institution.   

 

 

HIWT 75 Plus Years of Welder Training. Professor Colton has participated in their Instructor course and recommends you do the same. Use your web browser to locate the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology. Professor Colton has implemented the use of the HIWT course materials for Oxy Fuel Welding and Cutting, Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding and the Flux Core Arc Welding training materials. Professor Colton is very pleased with the student learning outcomes results from the use of these training materials. Feel free to contact him with questions or comments.
